This isn’t the first time I’ve had a look at Kingston’s SSDnow series of drives, but it IS the first time they’ve sent me an evaluation unit. It’s also the first time I’ve had a look at their notebook upgrade kit. Stay tuned because I will be using their software to transfer my current notebook over to an SSD.

With an AMD E-350 dual core 1.6GHz processor, ATI HD 6310 graphics, 320GB HDD and 3GB of memory it will do all basic taks very well. NOTE: Upgrading the HDD to a SSD and memory to 8GB would turn this average laptop into something really special!
