Lenovo’s new Skylight “smartbook”, revealed for the first time at CES 2010, delivers a unique sub 2 pound form factor, and promises 10 hours of battery life. Designed to be always connected, it features a 10″ screen, flash-based storage, and both WiFi and GSM-based 3G connectivity. It runs a special version of Linux developed by Lenovo, and is the first system shown that uses the new Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm.
Initially offered by AT&T at a subsidized price in the US, the unsubsidized price will be $500, and it will be available in March or April of 2010.
