However their idea does have some faults as well as positives. All the negatives of this notebook all lead back to its size and price. For example this laptop doesn’t come with a built-in optical drive you have to buy a standalone drive, this negative comes from the ThinkPad Edges small size which just doesn’t allow room for a built-in optical drive. This laptop is very mobile and lightweight, to support this feature Lenovo basically threw in every possible Internet connectivity possible. You can get regular Wi-Fi a or if that isn’t you can connect to the AT&T or Verizon CDMA internet and your other option is WiMAX connection which can get you 4G speeds if it’s available in your area. These options alone make this a great buy if you’re a business person who is always on the move. Even with the cons of this notebook I can recommend it due to the portability, build quality and power.

this is my first review ever…plz bear with me sound quality is not so good of the camera but the laptop’s sound quality is awesome….awesome awesome!!! gaming is also awesome in this laptop..all the latest games like nfs hot pursuit 2 can be played on full settings.. laptop-dell xps 14 processor-i7 740qm-quad core-1.73-2.93 ghz ram-8gb graphic card-2gb hard disk-500gb windows 7 home premium 64 bit hd web cam 3 usb port things i left in the video… it has a powershare port..by which u can charge ur ipod etc,without opening the laptop..pretty cool on the downside of the laprop there is a battery indicator,frm whr u can see the battery status of the laptop… cost around-82000 INR

www.digitalhomethoughts.com Here it is, the “mega review” of this laptop. Please ignore the fact that the video says “UNBOXING” – I neglected to edit that to say REVIEW. This video is quite long because I go into a lot of detail about battery tests, performance benchmarks, and the pros and cons of this notebook. I hope everyone enjoys the level of detail! This notebook, shown here in ruby red, is a little different that most notebooks in that it lacks a CD drive – but it’s no netbook! It has a 14 inch, 16:9 aspect ratio screen running at 1600 x 900 resolution, which is Dell’s 900p resolution option (an upgrade). The standard resolution is 720p, which is 1280 x 720. Powering it all is an Intel Core 2 Duo: the P8600, running at 2.4 Ghz, with 3 MB of L2 cache. 3 GB of DDR3 RAM at 1066mhz provides the memory, and storage is handled by a 320 GB, 7200 RPM hard drive. The graphics processor is an NVIDIA GeForce 9400G-M, and the on-board 802.11 b/g/n WiFI is an Intel 1515 card. It also has Bluetooth 2.1, and an optional ExpressCard 8-in-1 memory card adaptor that arrived damaged as you’ll see in the video. The keyboard is back-lit, which is an add-on option, and it’s running Windows Vista 64-bit. Powering it all is a 6-cell, 54 WHr battery. I paid 06 CAD for this configuration from Dell Canada as of May 2009, but Dell’s prices change daily to always check their Web site for the most accurate pricing information.
