I’m looking to purchase a tablet pc, but a customer reviewed the product as average for one reason and one reason only: there was no integrated bluetooth. What exactly does this feature enable you to do?
There are many devices that has bluetooth now. From my knowledge, there are mouse, keyboard, Wacom tablet, cell phones and PDAs, and many other things that support bluetooth. You basically use them wireless, so you don’t need to have all those cables sticking out of your laptop and also it adds to mobility.
I am in the Market for a new computer. I would use it mostly for downloading pics, music, and videos, surfing the internet and business. I don’t need fancy graphics or gaming stuff. Just a computer that is decently fast with a good amount of memory. My budget is $700 or less.I found one that seems to be a great deal through staples. It is an Inspiron 1545, it has an Intel Pentium dual-core T-3400 processor, 4 gb of installed memory, 250 GB of hard drive and a 15.6 inch screen for $550, here is the link

I don’t know much about computers but this seems cheap compared to other computers I have researched. My question is does this seem like a god deal? I will also need a good anti virus program and I hear avast and avg are good free programs to use, but do they really work, or would I be better off shelling out the extra 50-100 bucks for a better paid program?
sorry this is the correct link :

There’s a lot of good places to get computers. Shop around. & online thru Yahoo & others places you can enter a model number & they’ll show you the best prices.
I like Tiger Direct for computers. Great service. Never had a problem with them & great prices.
here’s their site:

I purchased an Acer Aspire One 531 netbook the other day. My only gripe is the touchpad; it seems especially with netbooks the touchpad’s aren’t as smooth and with this particular netbook the touchpad has the same problem…its not as smooth as my ADVENT laptop’s touchpad and its difficult to use my finger on the touchpad without it slightly skipping due to material/texture of the touchpad. Whereas with my ADVENT laptop I can glide my finger on the touchpad fine without problems as its much smoother (probably uses a smoother material).
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I don’t particular want to send this netbook back (as I do like it) and as I originally owned an ADVENT 4211C but that netbook had the same touchpad problem so I sent that one back but I haven’t seen too many product reviews on the Acer One 531 and the ADVENT 4211/4211C specifically about this problem but reviews from others with these netbooks say the touchpad is not as smooth as other laptops either so its definitely not just me.
Thanks.
I have a samsung NC10 and the opposite problem. The touch pad is too smooth!
When the skin on my fingers are very soft I cannot move the cursor. Arrgh!
Is an HP Tablet tx2500z Laptop with 4GB Ram and a 250GB hard drive a good buy? And where I could get a good deal on it? HP’s website has it for just over $1100 including $50 Microsoft Office Home and Student pre-installed.
That is quite a good buy, especially with 4 GB RAM. That much RAM would be a costly upgrade as these machines usually only come with 1GB installed.
And the TX2500 series is becoming quite a popular machine in the TabletPC groups.

Tomorrow is black friday and i was originally going to get the eMachines® eME627-5279 Notebook but then I wasn’t sure if the HP Notebook Computer G60-508US I saw many reviews that said the emachine sucks but what about the HP? review on both please help!?
E-machines do very much suck. I would say they are even worse than Compaq’s, and that is saying A LOT. Then again the computer is, what 198.00? What do you expect?
The HP’s that Walmart sell during Black Friday are made "specially" for Walmart. When I went up there with my friend to buy the first HP laptop they were selling pre-black Friday, one of there sales associates let me in on a little secret. The computer was a refurbished older model from HP. It was bulky, and cheap due to the fact. Total waste. If you have 400.00 buy the HP was Staples. A lot better! If you want that laptop from Walmart, you should be in line right now. I doubt you will get it to be honest.
